Once you have explored beginning watercolor bests practices you are ready to explore intermediate techniques. Each class will explore opportunities to enhance your painting. From salt to mixed media this series will teach you fun ways to enhance your watercolor experience.
Class 1: Use salt to create granulation and texture. We'll paint rocks, minerals and abstract work.
Class 2: Ink, watercolor pencils, pens mixed media. Paint expressive florals.
Class 3: Plastic, sea sponge, spray bottle and sprayed paint. Expressive paintings with various options.
Class 4: Masking and Gouache to create clean crisp areas. We'll work on color washes and distinct shapes and highlights.
Join my workshops to learn to create, relax and be make time for art making. Located at Dabble Seattle! A creative space in the heart of Greenwood. We meet once a week either on the weekend or weekdays.
I am an illustrator, artist, designer and educator who loves to inspire others to be creative. All adults are welcome, no matter their previous drawing or painting experience.
Cost: $200 for four, 2 hr. classes
I provide paper and technique supplies, please bring a brush, palette and watercolor paints (I will provide a list of recommended paints if you do not have any).
