Once you have explored beginning watercolor bests practices you are ready for this all day immersive class. We will start by studying the plants and minerals that appear in the foreground before progressing step by step to understand how to show depth and represent mountains, trees, clouds and even the weather. We will use both ink and watercolor in this one day workshop, I will help you develop your understanding and use of both. There will be plenty of time for one on one work. ​​​​​​​
10 AM - 12 PM: The foreground: Bring your coffee! I'll have references as we explore details such as rocks, shells, trees to understand how to capture what is up close. 
30 Minute Break
12:30- 4 PM: Depth: Focus on painting full landscapes with mid ground and back ground, including the time of day (light) and weather!
I provide paper, plants, masking fluid, some specialized paint for granulation and tools for landscape painting, please bring a brush, palette and watercolor paints. I will provide a simple recommendation for ink & watercolor paint.
